BB Brownies

Black bean are the substitute for flour. Gluten and dairy free, and no one will know you used black beans.





INGREDIENTS

  • 1 15 ounce can of black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 2 and 1/2 tablespoons cacao powder or cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup gluten free oats

  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup, honey or agave

  • pinch of salt

  • 2 tablespoons stevia (or omit and add more syrup)

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Combine all ingredients in food processor, except chocolate chips, blend till smooth

  3. Stir in chips and pour into greased 8x8 pan

  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes

  5. Let cool for 10 minutes before cooling

Note: if they seem slightly underdone, you can put them in the fridge for a few hours to firm up.
